The PSAT is designed to measure the student’s critical reading, math reasoning and writing skills. This program is designed for sophomores and juniors taking the PSAT in preparation for college. One of the other functions of the PSAT is to qualify students to receive information from colleges through the College Board Student Search Service. The student will also be automatically entered in several scholarship competitions, including the National Merit Scholarship Competition.
Students may complete a 12-hour program. Your child will be paired with one of our highly-trained PSAT tutors who will work to identify and improve your child’s areas of weakness. The course includes a minimum of 3 real practice tests to gauge the student’s progress and increase his or her familiarity with the structure of the exam.
Each SAT Subject Test is an hour-long exam designed to test the student’s knowledge of one specific course that he/she studied in high school. This serves as an excellent source for students to stand out among other college applicants by providing the college of their choice additional qualifying factors.
Students may complete an 8-hour program with one of our highly-trained SAT tutors specialized in the specific subject. The course includes a minimum of 2 real practice tests to gauge the student’s progress and increase his/her familiarity with the structure of the exam. Additionally, students are required to complete their customized SAT Subject homework assignment after each session. This enables students to reinforce content and strategies between tutoring sessions.
